What kind of venue is Norwood Park?
It’s the kind of venue that makes you go, WOW, every time you turn a corner. Just driving up to it is absolutely stunning, but then you head into the grand entrance and your faced with sweeping staircases, so much natural light and traditional features mixed in with modern renovations.
Whether you’re wanting a summer wedding or winter wedding, it’s the perfect venue. It has a stunning indoor ceremony room, or the bandstand in the gardens for those happy to risk the wonderful British weather!
What I love about being a photographer at Norwood Park
As a natural wedding photographer, I’m a sucker for natural light. Any bright room with lots of windows and I’m like a pig in muck! My two favourite rooms at Norwood Park are the Orangery, the “getting ready” room and the wedding reception room, which used to be a stables and a coach house. You will spot them in my gallery below – they’re just stunning!
I’ve been lucky enough to photograph weddings there in the summer and winter, and I can’t decide which time of year was my favourite! On the better weather days, we can venture off in a golf buggy finding some dreamy photo spots. On the flip side, if you are looking for a Nottingham wedding venue for a Christmas or winter wedding, it is super cosy and magical!
