Bakewell Town Hall Wedding Photographer
Where is Bakewell Town Hall?
Bakewell Town Hall (also known as Bakewell Registry Office) is right in the heart of Bakewell in the Peak District. It’s surrounded by beautiful countryside, with plenty of incredible photo spots just a short walk or drive away.
What kind of venue is Bakewell Town Hall?
Bakewell Registry Office is perfect for smaller, more intimate weddings. It’s ideal if you’re choosing to do something a bit different – keeping things simple, meaningful and focused on your closest people.
These weddings often feel really personal and relaxed. You can have your ceremony, celebrate with your favourite people, and then head off for photos or a meal nearby. It’s proof that weddings don’t have to be big to be special.
What I love about being a photographer at Bakewell Town Hall
I photograph a lot of intimate weddings here, and I absolutely love them. There’s something really special about smaller celebrations – they’re often more relaxed, more emotional, and full of genuine moments.
One of the best things about Bakewell is how close it is to so many amazing locations. We can easily nip off into the Peak District for portraits – I’ve even taken couples for photos with an ice cream van before! But if you’d rather stay local, the gardens just around the corner are beautiful too (even if you do get the occasional curious passerby).
You can also have biodegradable confetti here, which always makes for such a fun moment just after the ceremony.
Afterwards, lots of couples head to nearby places like Losehill House Hotel, The Maynard, or one of the lovely local pubs for a relaxed meal or small reception.
I also offer hour-by-hour wedding photography, which works perfectly for smaller weddings like this – so you can have coverage that fits your day without anything you don’t need.
