Tucked away on the historic Trusley Estate, Grangefields feels wonderfully secluded from the rest of the world. Reached by a long private drive, you arrive to open countryside and beautiful converted barns right in the heart of Derbyshire — it honestly feels like your own little hideaway.

Grangefields is part of the Cripps & Co family of venues, so weddings here run effortlessly. It’s a stunning barn wedding venue with characterful red-brick buildings, a gorgeous courtyard and beautiful inside spaces for both ceremony and reception. Whether you’re planning a relaxed celebration or a big party, it’s a venue designed with weddings in mind — everything just flows.
What I love about being a photographer at Grangefields
I’m a recommended supplier at Grangefields, which I’m incredibly proud of! I love photographing here because there are endless backdrops — rustic brick walls, the courtyard, fields, cosy interiors — you’re spoilt for choice.
It’s breathtaking in summer with golden-hour sunsets and guests spilling out into the courtyard. But it’s also one of my favourite winter wedding venues — think fire pits, warm lighting and that super-cosy atmosphere that just feels magical. And the food? Always incredible.
